Tournament Success!!

Four West Seneca teams... different Tournaments... different States... All bring home some hardware!

Bantam Minor AA - Chris Jones

2nd Place - Rock N Roll Cup - Cleveland, OH

The Wings earned a spot in the Championship Gam where they lost an overtime heartbreaker to the undefeated  Armstrong Arrows. Great Job Wings!!

Pee Wee Major AA - Peter Boersma

2nd Place - Roc-City Cup - Rochester, NY

The Wings earned a spot in the Finals with a 2-1 record in the preliminary round over Niagara Wheatfield and Niagara Jr Purple Eagles.  The team lost a close and contested Final by the score of 2 -1 to the Rochester Rattlers, from Michigan. The Wings played excellent team defense throughout the tournament.  Goalies Cameron Jarembek and Ryan Seereiter combined for a 1.50 GAA over the four games.  This achievement was a credit to their play and the commitment to defense from the defense and forwards.  Congratulations Wings!!

Pee Wee Minor AA - Dick Marini

2nd Place - Irish South Bend Cup - Notre Dame, IN

The Wings earned a spot in the finals where they fell to Erie to earn their 2nd Place Medals and Trophy. Congratulations Wings!

Pee Wee Select - David Cox, Jr.

1st Place - Rock N Roll Cup - Cleveland, OH

The Wings earned their spot in the finals with a 4-1 record in the preliminaries, defeating Erie Lions 4-3, the Piedmont Predators 8-5, the Livingston Blues 3-1, and fell to the Columbus Capitols 6-3.  In the championship game the Wings once again faced the Erie Lions in the Championship Game.  The Wings fought hard to win 5-4 and bring the championship back to West Seneca!  Goaltender Patrick Roof was named MVP of the tournament.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE TEAMS!
