After a hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the return of girls’ hockey to the WSYHA, and the excitement is palpable! This marks a significant milestone for us as we continue to grow and diversify our hockey programs, ensuring that all young athletes in our community have a place to pursue their passion for the sport.

Since the inception of our girls’ hockey program in 2010, we’ve been dedicated to fostering excellence and growth. A key highlight of our journey was becoming USA Hockey National Finalists for the Girls Tier-II 12 & Under category in 2012, followed by a repeat national appearance in 2013. These achievements underscore our commitment to developing elite youth hockey talent.

But that’s not all the exciting news we have for you! Alongside the revival of girls’ hockey at WSYHA, we are proud to introduce our dedicated coaching lineup. These experienced coaches will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our young athletes and helping them reach their full potential:

 10U Blue Team – Coach Kyle Skoney: Kyle brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the game, ensuring that our 10U Blue team receives top-notch coaching and guidance.

 10U Gold Team – Coach Derrick Rose: Derrick’s expertise and commitment to player development will undoubtedly lead our 10U Gold team to new heights.

 12U Blue Team – Coach Adam Golder: Adam’s coaching experience and enthusiasm will be instrumental in nurturing the skills and confidence of our 12U Blue team members.

 12U TB – Coach Mark Gaiser: Mark’s dedication to excellence and a winning mindset will inspire our 12U Gold team to achieve their goals on the ice.

 14U TB – Coach Bryan Amplement: Bryan’s leadership and coaching prowess will guide our 14U players as they strive for success in every game.

These outstanding coaches are not only skilled in the game of hockey but also deeply committed to the personal and athletic growth of our young athletes. We are confident that they will create an environment where our girls can flourish and continue the tradition of excellence that WSYHA is known for.

Our program is tailored to empower young athletes by equipping them with essential skills and confidence both on and off the ice. We hold a firm belief in the limitless potential of each player and are devoted to guiding them towards their individual and athletic aspirations.
